Honolulu Altered Books Group, May 2015

May turned out to be another superb month of altered art. We had a great meeting as we shared our stories about what inspired us in
developing the art created in the following spreads. It is amazing to me how each artist interprets the theme of the book and personalizes the art they create based on some life experience, memory, deep thoughts or humor.
We are now half way through this round robin. We can't wait to see what happens next.
Art should comfort the disturbed
and disturb the comfortable.
