We had a great meeting this month at Rubber Stamp Plantation. The books are starting to get fat with all the great artwork.We are now a quarter of the way through this round robin and we can't wait
to see what everybody will come up with in their upcoming spreads.

It's almost time for
Altered
Art Adventure 4
in Honolulu, Hawaii
The theme for 2013 is Realm of
Royalty, where you can be Queen for the day! The two projects
include:
1. Queenly Journal, a
gatefold book, taught by Pam Yee. Bring embellishments, paper, ink or paint to
customize your royal journal cover.
2. Queen for a Day, make
your very own crown, taught by Debbie West. Think bling, jewels, and "over the
top"! What is your style? Start collecting small treasures, trinkets, and
vintage jewelry pieces that you might want to incorporate into your unique
headpiece. You can make great use of those unused earrings, pins and other
costume jewelry pieces that you hang on to, but no longer wear! The
embellishment bar will include jewels, die-cut shapes and many more
treasures.
We hope you can join us on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Rubber Stamp
Plantation. The workshop hours are 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
We will provide bottled water throughout the day. Feel free to bring a
brown bag lunch. There are also a few places with in walking distance to
purchase lunch.
Fee for the workshop is $100. Please save the date! Upon confirmation, we
will send your supply/tool list.
***The Realm of Royalty Workshop will also be offered on Saturday, March 9
in Kailua, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. .

On Sunday, March 10, 2013 we will offer Altered Books
Techniques ---What's it all about?
Join us for a fast-paced all-day workshop, from 9:00
a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in Kailua, Hawaii.
You will
learn 10 techniques which can then be incorporated into altered books,
greeting cards, and journals.
Some of the techniques to be
covered:
Waterfall card, mini flag book, fan of pockets,
creating a niche, tunnel book,
Blizzard book, iris folds, pop-ups, and
more.
There are a few places within walking distance to
purchase lunch.
Fee for this workshop is $70. Upon confirmation, we will send your
supply/tool list.
