April 2011 Honolulu Altered Books Group Meeting.

Aloha, As we finish the first month of spring 2011, we were so happy to have Pam Yee present for three of our Altered Books Meetings. Pam and her husband Ron make the pilgrimage to Hawaii every year from Michigan to take in the warm weather and visit with friends. While Pam is busy visiting with friends and creating art, Ron is engaged in creating some unbelievable paintings inspired by our picturesque island. Check out his web site at http://www.rongianola.com/ This month's meeting of the Honolulu Altered Books Group was as always full of fun, laughter, tears and some very exciting works of Altered art. The only thing that would have made the meeting better is if all the art had aririved on time. As luck would have it, when we got home from the Saturday meeting we had three packages in our mail box that did not make it to the meeting or into the books. For those mailing to Hawaii, please remember to allow seven to ten days to get here. We don't want anyone to pay premium postage only to have it still arrive a day too late. Also if anyone in the group would like to have us add a link or post an article, please feel free to email it to us and we will be happy to include it on the next post. ...............................................................................................................................................................
