Honolulu Altered Books Group October 2011

Aloha Artists,
Sorry about the late posting of the October Blog. It's been a very busy
month as we get prepared to immerse ourselves into the holiday season.
The October meeting was another fun event as we went through our own
art as well as the art that was mailed to us. It is always entertaining and educational
learning from each other's tips and techniques.
We are on the home stretch with this round robin. We meet again in November (work on your January assignment) and then we take a break in December and January then reconvene in Feb.2012.

Honolulu Altered Books Group September 2011

Aloha,
Welcome to the September Honolulu Altered Books Group Round Robin recap. We had a good turnout at this months gathering at Rubber Stamp Plantation. There was a fantastic collection of altered art for all of us to enjoy. Everyone's books are growing in size each month and with just seven more rounds to do, you just might want to instal a larger mail box before the books are sent back to their owners.
Don't forget that you can click on any of the photos in the blog to explore it closer and check out the great detail that goes into all these great works of art.

Searching is half the fun: life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.

August Honolulu Altered Books Group Round Robin

Aloha,

August must be a busy month for everybody. We had a small turnout at our meeting

as well as a small turn out in our mailbox. The artwork that we did get to see was of course wonderful to look at.

We are planning to meet in September, October and November then take off December and January for some much needed rest. We will then be back for the final few rounds starting in Feb. 2012.
